Senior South American Championships: On August 5-9, 2011, Mariana, a junior member of the Peruvian National Team, participated in the Senior South American Championships in Santiago, Chile. Mariana made finals on balance beam and received the highest score among the senior Peruvian team.
Gymnix International, Montreal, Canada 2011: Finals on beam. 4th place with a score of 13.500.
Senior Panamerican Championships Guadalajara, Mexico 2010: August 2010. Mariana Chiarella, only 14, participated in the Senior Gymnastics Panamerican Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico and qualified as the top Peruvian gymnast, obtaining a spot for the Peruvian Federation for the 2011 Panamerican Games to be held in Guadalajara, Mexico.
